Sand Washed Stair Installation
The Sandwashed finish is easy to explain if you think about the finish typically found around pool decks. It is gritty and gives traction to bare feet, sandals, boots and shoes alike. You can have a sand washed finish installed practically anywhere and the style looks great on colored concrete and stamped finishes. In fact, on a stamped finish is where the sand wash is best suited. Typically stamped finishes can end up a bit slippery due to the nature of the sealant but with a sand wash added to the top, stamped concrete becomes not only a viable option for patios, but walkways and stairways as well.
